Journal #10

I feel that my papers have improved from the beginning of the class because i get more to the point and can explain my specific ideas better. i think I'm strengths in writing is talking about my opion on the topic. i always have a problem with talking about things i have no interest in. we havent done much in this class to improve writing skills just learn how to format.

journal #9

For the most part i think that peer group editing is useful. it gives you a chance to make corrections to a paper that might have made sense to you. a lot of times when someone else reads a paper it might not flow or read as well as the author thought it did. especially as a group then you'll have multiple people making comments and showing what to do to improve the paper. i also understand that some people don't feel comfortable having other students read over there papers espcaily if it is about something that is emotional to them, so i don't think group editing is always a good idea. There's also times where some people will tell a person to make a correction to a paper and accidentaly make the paper worse not really knowing what they are talking about. i think group editing is just another tool to improve a paper not something that should be mandatory if someone wants to do it than its good for them otherwise they shouldn't have to.
